Bless me, Beysus

I love Beyonce.

There, I said it.  I am a HUGE fan of the ever-gorgeous fit as a tight drum, soul singing dancing divas like my girl Alicia Keys, my baby Mariah Carey, and the righteous song poet Erykah Badu.  Even the naysayers can’t deny Bey is fierce.

Bamm!  Here are 32 more electrifying images from Superbowl Sunday’s halftime show (strike that: Beyonce concert.)  Blue Ivy Carter’s Mom has it going on.  Guess what?  Jay-Z’s wife isn’t the only one allowed to be All That.  Although, if I were Jay-Z’s wife…  (sorry, crazy man-band crush )

I know 2 things that make me feel fierce like a jungle cat:

1.  Chaturanga Dandasana.  The yoga push up.

Meow.

2.  Urdva Danurasana.  Back bend.

This is why you need to take up yoga so you can end up feeling like this:

Fierce.  All day long.

And on the days when you can’t summon up the energy to roll out your mat our lace up your shoes, try praying to Beysus.

When Beysus knelt down to bless the audience:

She may bless you with what it takes.  Chances are, you already have it.  It’s a close as your mat or your ipod.  Crank up the dream team, above and I dare you not to growl.

Do you like Beyonce?

  1. LOVE LOVE LOVE her! Love that she has a mostly all girl band, love that her new tour will be called the Mrs. Carter show, love that she is fit, curvy and fierce. I could go on, but then I may need a private moment…

  2. Okay, so maybe I am not a huge fan of “B” but I love how fit and solid she is – who said you have to be Twiggy to look good???? And so are you promising me I will look like her (or you) if I keep at this yoga thing? Needless to say, I am loving it!
